Our current world is fragile with misunderstanding and fear.On the one hand we have arrived at a place of interdependence as a world, but the challenge is to continue to learn and acknowledge new kinds of experiences and needs. Are we willing to to push against the constraints of our own self-imposed structures and barriers to open and honest communication? Some of the present models of religion are single-minded, authoritarian and hierarchical. We will discuss Rabbi Jonathan Sacks' provocative book which sets the stage for believers and non-believers alike to become part of a spiritual "call to arms, " if you will, to a more thoughtful, respectful, and dignified conversation.

Limited to the first 10 participants; advanced registration required.
